First Day of Summer Tea

Fremont Hills welcomed Summer on June 21st with an afternoon on the deck. Peach iced tea and hot tea were served along with fruit cups and delicious iced tea cakes. Residents were entertained by The Sea Shells who offered a variety of summer songs for everyone's enjoyment.

Watermark University: Joan’s European Adventure

Thursday, June 13th our Executive Director, Joan Newman, shared pictures from a trip to Provence, France she won in a lottery while at a conference. Joan went with her husband and three daughters. She shared both a slide show and offered a taste of France by serving residents Brie, grapes and madeleine cookies.

Extraordinary Outing: Count Basie Orchestra

Thursday evening, June 7th, residents enjoyed a special trip to Yoshi's for dinner and to see the Count Basie Orchestra. Japanese food was on our menu and the music was very extraordinary. The Count Basie Orchestra has been going since 1935 and they are still cutting new albums.
